Radio Adoption was launched in June of 2006 as a program of Harmony Adoptions of TN, Inc.  The goal was to establish a voice for all parties of adoption in the new medium of podcasting.  Harmony embraces technology and strives to be a leading implementer of technical resources in the field of adoption.  The first season of Radio Adoption brought an immediate audience of thousands and welcomed many guests to the program.  Harmony took the opportunity between seasons to rework the format of the show to better serve its listening audience.  Launching in the fall of 2006, Season Two of Radio Adoption was once again received by its loyal listeners.

The content of Radio Adoption is designed to appeal to each member of the Adoption Triad.  In every adoption there is a birth family, an adoptive family, and the child.  Each of these groups has rights and need unique to them.  Finding resources can be difficult at times especially for birth parents and adoptive children.  Radio Adoption works to empower every group and in the process hopes to help listeners gain better perspective.
